New York choreographer Robert Battle premiered his powerful and bold work at River North Chicago’s Annual Harris Theatre Engagement in February 2008.  Train is a look at an abstract ritual in 3 parts set to a percussive live recording.  The ritual reflects the dancers’ life on stage.  The beat and rhythm of the procession connects the dancers while the pulse acts as the heartbeat, flowing from one dancer to another. Train showcases the dancers as warriors, highlighting their constant rising and falling
