Presenting Venues

Presented in association with:

The Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater for Music and Dance is a 1500-seat state-of-the art performance venue located in Chicago’s Millennium Park. Opened in November 2003, the nonprofit Harris Theater was the first multi-use performance venue built in downtown Chicago since 1929.  Harris Theater serves as a unique national model of collaboration between the philanthropic community and performing arts organizations in music and dance. More than a decade later, the theater features the most diverse offerings of any venue in Chicago, hosting local, national, and internationally renowned artists and ensembles.

One of the nation’s largest facilities devoted to the art of our time, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA) offers exhibitions of the most thought-provoking art created since 1945. The MCA documents contemporary visual culture through painting, sculpture, photography, video and film, and performance. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, the MCA boasts a gift store, bookstore, restaurant, 300-seat theater, and a terraced sculpture garden with a great view of Lake Michigan.

Millennium Park is Chicago’s Showplace for Cutting-edge Art, Architecture, Landscape Design, Music and More.  The Millennium Park Summer Celebration will feature hundreds of FREE events and exhibitions including rock, pop, jazz, classical, world & gospel music; films on a 40-foot LED screen; monumental Jaume Plensa sculptures; family fun; workouts and more! Visit Cloud Gate (aka “The Bean”) and enjoy Crown Fountain, Jay Pritzker Pavilion and Lurie Garden – all just steps away from the new Maggie Daley Park.

The Auditorium Theatre, located at 50 E. Congress Pkwy, is an Illinois, not-for-profit organization committed to presenting the finest in international, cultural, community and educational programming to Chicago, and to the continued restoration and preservation of the National Historic Landmark. In September of 2014, the Auditorium Theatre was awarded the inaugural Fifth Star Award by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
